From the start, BC Stargazer (ne’ Chris Wagner) seemed destined to make music. Born in the back of an ambulance to a massage therapist and a bar band musician, Stargazer's rural Oregon home was always filled with music. Either his family and friends were listening to music, or making it.

By 8 years old, BC had taken to “noodling” around on the drums, with his Dad’s band. His parents love of nature, and interest in non-western traditions imbued Stargazer with a sense of “peace Love and hippieness” that even now comes through in his music.

By the time he was a junior at Neah-Kah-Nie high school, he was drumming in a rock/country band with fellow classmates. Playing covers and original material.

Influenced by his older brother Jake, one half of the duo Wagz and Heest, Stargazer started rapping in 1999. He wrote and recorded verses on 2 cuts "503 Greetings" and "Feelin' Fine" on Wagz and Heest’s first CD “Oregon Territory.” This was the beginning of his rap career. In 2005, BC was featured on another two tracks, "Good Dayz" and "Puffathon" on Wagz and Heest’s 2005 CD Oregon Sunshine.

By 2005, BC Stargazer ventured out on solo gigs, and set about writing the songs contained on his latest solo effort On Saturday.
